The Jewish New Year

Wednesday the 12th of September 2007

Tomorrow is the first day of the Jewish New Year.

We celebrate it by going to the Knesset (church)

Someone reads from the Thora ( Jewish Bible)

Then the schofar (horn) is blown to open up the sky for good things.
We sing and pray. After that we have a big meal with all the Jewish people in Dunedin.
We eat apple, honey, promegranates and fish.

The we wish everyone a Happy New Year.
